Lisa, that was beautiful. I believe that Heath was all three. There were many reasons he was here, to create a beautiful little girl, to share his talent with the world, to be a loving son, father and friend. His life was so short, like a season, but in that time, he brought joy to so many. And the lessons he taught us will last a lifetime. He was kind and respectful to everyone, it didn't matter if he were speaking to a checkout girl at the grocery store or a hollywood producer, he treated everyone the same. And we should aspire to live as he would, and carry the lessons he taught us forever.

As far as Heath goes, I believe he came into my life for a reason, stayed for a season, and will be loved and remembered for a lifetime.

My friend, Alison sent me this. I thought it was eloquent and appropriate.

People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it's usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance & support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend & they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up & force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, & their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered & now it's time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They bring you an experince of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it's real. But only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person, & put what you have learned to use in all other relationships & areas of your life. It's said that love is blind, but friendship is clairvoyant.

today a girl i work with and i got into a minor argument about heath. we were talking about the movie fight club but the topic was soon switched to actors we enjoyed. before i even got a chance to mention heath a girl changed the conversation again to actors that they hate. and of course the first name to come out of her mouth was heath (in her defense she didnt really know i was a fan) but even after i told her she kept on going. saying that he was horrid in brokeback ("all he did was mummble") and in other movies. i was quick to jump to his defense. explaining that there was a diffrence between being an actor and an over actor, heath being the former. enis was ment to be subtle. heath knew this and played it beautifully. if the creator of the character told you that you understood the character better then she did then you obviously know what your doing. it just makes me so mad when people judge his portrayal of a character which they have clearly never read the text on which the movie is based. i ended the conversation before i yelled at the girl or something because i actually like her. but i was beyond annoyed and actually pretty mad. im sorry to leave this rambel but i just thought that maybe some of you could relate.

It makes me angry when I hear people say bad things about you especially the media. It always seems to be the case when someone passes away ! I was on You tube and there was this video of kids doing a play on where they were when Heath passes away...they made it seem like a big joke !! It made me so mad !! Why can`t people just respect him ! Anyways I guess I am emotional because like everyone said it is a Tuesday !!!

I'm so sorry the media is still trying to ruin you. Even though you've been gone for nearly four months now, they still get a thrill from airing some "sensational" but most likely emblished or untrue story about you. I read tonight that the E channel is sending a reporter to Perth to try to interview your friends and family, and try to milk every little detail of your life out of them. I know how you wanted to keep your personal life personal-as it should be. I hope those closest to you tell this reporter where to go. I only wish that the media would stop spinning negative stories about you, and leave you alone. You should and will be celebrated for the kind, caring, unselfish, and truly amazing person you were, and those of us who love and miss you will never forget that.

Linda. just to add onto what Britton had he also liked a group called Spiderbait which is another Aussie band and he was friends since Kindgergarten with N'fa and friends with the lead singer or R.E.M.
